By installing or using the TruthLens browser extension ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. What TruthLens Is

TruthLens is an AI-powered media literacy tool that identifies potential propaganda techniques and political bias indicators in text content. It is designed as an educational and analytical aid — not a fact-checker, not a news authority, and not a substitute for your own critical thinking.

3. Important Disclaimers

AI-Generated Analysis
All analysis results are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude). AI is imperfect. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect limitations of the underlying model.

TruthLens results should not be treated as legal determinations, factual verdicts, authoritative political judgments, or professional advice of any kind.

Political Neutrality
TruthLens applies the same analytical framework to content from all political perspectives. We do not endorse any political party, ideology, or viewpoint.

No Guarantee of Accuracy
We make no warranty, express or implied, that TruthLens results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use your own judgment.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use TruthLens to harass, defame, or target individuals
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension without permission
Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to overload, abuse, or circumvent any usage limits
Resell or redistribute TruthLens as your own product

5. Intellectual Property

TruthLens, including its code, design, branding, and analysis methodology, is the intellectual property of Bespinite LLC. All rights reserved. The "TruthLens" name and associated branding may not be used without written permission from Bespinite LLC.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BESPINITE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF TRUTHLENS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL BESPINITE LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED $100.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bespinite LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of TruthLens or violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
